36 Degrees is born
Suzi has great experience in the fitness
business, having worked in gyms and taken note of
how gyms are run and the equipment they provide and
their clientele. It was during the last 10 years
visiting numerous overseas fitness clubs in Europe,
North and South America, that she detected a void in
the market.
36.5 ° is our core temperature. This was
the inspiration behind the name of the state of the
art, 329 square meter gym located at
139 Old Main road (cnr. Mason and Old
Main Road), Pinetown.
Suzi Tomlinson will tell you that sculpting a svelte
physique takes time, hard work and a good plan. 36
° Degrees caters for affluent, urban professionals (18
- 65 year olds) looking for a more upscale
experience than is found at budget gyms, but at a
more affordable price than is often charged by more
private establishments.
36° Degrees is plush, clean, urban and stylish. It
boasts a contemporary color scheme and sleek, modern
furniture. It doesn't look, feel, or even smell like
a gym.
State of the art Spinning Equipment
Consists of a brand new fleet of RevMaster Pro
spinning bikes, designed by
Greg LeMond, (the first American to win the Tour de
France,) and imported/manufactured in USA. These
bikes are the closest thing to a real bike, fitted
with a computer to monitor cadence, heart rate,
calories, rpm's and distance. The (quick adjustment) cam handles and increased adjustment
ranges to seat and handlebars create the best custom fit available
and allows you greater muscle involvement.
The 4-way microfit also lets you cycle in an upright position
or pedal stretched out and low, which is ideal for triathletes.
We provide a personally chosen qualified (Cycle Lab) spinning instructor.
Technogym
Strength training equipment consists of
the latest Technogym equipment with over 25 years of expertise,
imported from Italy and is regarded as
the best equipment available worldwide. Technogym
equipment was chosen to meet the athletic
requirements in China's Olympic Athletes Village in
2008. The machines we use are extend from the Executive range where
the emphasis has been put on the user, concentrating on biomechanics,
ergonomics and ease of use. They provide optimum trajectory movement
for excercised muscles and joints to combine maximum activation of each
muscle group with total safety. Careful attention has been given to
maximise performace while maintaining safety and comfort.
The Boutique Experience
36° Degrees provides showers, soap, shampoo,
conditioner, hand cream, and personal towels.
Coffee/tea/juice is available at no extra cost.
Our private lounge and rest area has gorgeous
oversized leather couches and coffee tables and
feels just like home. Also on display, for viewing
at your leisure, are the latest 2-LANI
designs.
This boutique gym provides a personalized experience
which meets your individual needs, identifies your
